Description

Radical Game will establish currently absent cross-sectoral collaborations between youth practitioners in the context of youth civic engagement and the prevention of radicalisation using game-based learning. In doing so, the project will not only create useful bridges for cross-sectoral collaborations but also develop game-based initiatives towards youth engagement. The project will empower youth with the experience of becoming aware of radicalisation and active citizenship, while at the same time developing youth-led dialogue, critical thinking skills, and intercultural competences and making them more resilient and proactive in a radicalization-prone society.

Objectives

Radical Game aims to:
1. bridge policy, research and practice in preventing youth radicalization through a cross-sectoral and transnational collaboration,
2. develop youth engagement, participation, and prevent the spread of radical dogmas and ideologies using game-based pedagogies, and
3. implement a participatory action research methodology to democratize the co-creation of new knowledge related to civic engagement and prevention of radicalisation
